Welcome to my eFolio, here I will take you on a journey of everything I did accomplished at Holy Cross College.

My name is Danielle Wood and I am from New Palestine, IN which is located on the south-east side of Indianapolis. I will be graduating this December from Holy Cross College located in Notre Dame, IN with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and a Global Perspectives Minor.

Holy Cross College was not my first choice to further my education but turned out to be the right decision and the most beneficial thing I would ever do. Coming from a small town and small classroom sizes I didn't think I wanted to go to an even smaller college but it turns out that is exactly what I needed. Holy Cross College may be small but it is unique in its own way and offers the benefits of a larger university.  One thing that makes Holy Cross unique from other schools is that it has what is called the four pillars and those four pillars are what is required of each and every student that plans to graduate from Holy Cross, these being; The Service Learning Experience, The Global Perspectives Experience, The Internship Experience, and lastly The Senior Capstone. Each of these experiences has different impacts on each and every student that completes them but something that everyone will experience is, "the competence to see and the courage to act." These experiences support a Liberal Arts Education and challenge the graduates throughout the rest of our lives.

"Come as you are, be Transformed", that is the theme of my eFolio and capstone project. When I came to Holy Cross College I was the same kid I was in high school but as I have grown and matures as an individual I have transformed into the person I want to be. Holy Cross did that to me, by experiencing all the things I have experienced while at Holy Cross. I believe that the point of doing the Service Learning Experience, Global Perspectives Experience, and Internship Experience is to really change you as a person and help you to become the person you want to be.
